From E. Pleschner, adult participant on the current Sojourn to the Past journey: “Engagement with & between the kids is incredible. The preparation pre-trip gets them ready for something that's so deep, it seems beyond their comprehension, yet their responsiveness and comments prove how much they're not only getting, but retaining. It's more than subject matter and historic facts, and even more than becoming future activists, but creating conscientiousness that's beyond their years, and frankly beyond what many adults think they know. It's also about a much bigger picture for them as young adults, developing a level of understanding other people that truly sets them apart - in whatever path they take. I'M BLOWN AWAY!“
The price of greatness is responsibility.
Principled leadership and courage under fire look the same, now and then.

Right Now: Honoring hard work that's paying off
Honoring Jay Watson, Indigeny Reserve co-founder, mega-entrepreneur and our longtime client. Wending his way, with grace, tenacity and humor, through the endless start-up hoops. From telecommunications businessman to alcoholic beverage company owner, apple farmer and cidermaster, dealing with local ordinances, water rights, TTB, FDA and CCOF regulations (ahhh, and so many more), passing the million bottle mark and becoming one of the top Mother Lode destinations on Yelp and TripAdvisor. P.S. He's holding one of the bottles we designed!
Right Now: Mentoring mega-entrepreneurs
Here's the story of one:
High schooler Sean M. is 17, wise and motivated far beyond his years. He's already balancing several money-making ventures (self-designated high school hat salesman (buy low, sell higher), dog walker, tutor, DoorDash delivery person and city energy efficiency team member who is simultaneously building a viable online business or two).
Sean recognizes the value in diversification, finding needs and filling them, doing what he loves, staying focused and self-motivated, planning for financial independence and absorbing the wisdom of his mentors (including me).
We are fine-tuning his path and his future as it unfolds – brilliantly. I am pretty sure that one day I will be meeting him at his mansion and counseling him about sharing the wealth. And, I know he will.
